Elder Law
Elder Law 2008: Advancing the Plan
This seminar brings valuable information on a variety of topics vital to an elder law practice. Expert elder law practitioners discuss special needs trust administration, provide an update on Medicaid eligibility and estate recovery issues, identify elder law and Medicaid concerns for trusts, and examine problem areas in guardianship and conservatorship administration. An experienced tax lawyer explains a number of aspects of IRA distributions, including estates and trusts as beneficiaries. Part of any practice is effective communication. Individuals who are impaired present a unique challenge, and a panel looks at how to make information available to impaired clients and beneficiaries, facilitate decision-making, and set appropriate boundaries.
